The Beginning

A Craft Born
from Intention

My love for scents has always been a part of who I am. It started as a simple joy — lighting a candle, filling a room, and instantly feeling at ease. Over time, that love turned into something deeper: a passion for creating atmospheres that bring calm, comfort, and connection.

After having my children, everything changed. I became more mindful of what we brought into our home. I struggled to find candles in stores that were truly safe — free from toxins, phthalates, and harsh chemicals. I wanted better for my family. So, I decided to create my own.

I started blending clean, non-toxic fragrances using pure, thoughtfully sourced ingredients — so my kids could grow up in a space that felt beautiful, grounded, and safe.

The name DharmaZents is a reflection of that journey. It comes from my last name, Dharmasena, and is a blend of Dharma, meaning purpose and righteousness, and Zents, a play on zen and scents.

Every candle I handcraft is more than a product — it's an extension of my intention to create a life of wellness, mindfulness, and meaningful moments.
