Ordering & Payment

You can order directly from the Shop page — add items to your cart and submit via the cart drawer. You can also use the Contact form or call/text Shani at 209-741-7888. She'll confirm all details and pricing before processing.

We accept Zelle, Venmo, and cash on local pickup. Shani will send payment details once your order is confirmed. Card payments through the website are not available at this time.

Submitting your cart sends an order request to Shani. She'll follow up within 48 hours to confirm availability, final pricing, and payment. Your order is fully confirmed once payment is received.

Prices shown are estimated prices. Final pricing — including any shipping costs — will be confirmed by Shani when she follows up. Prices may vary for custom or bulk orders.

Shipping & Delivery

Yes, we ship within the United States. Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and order size, and will be confirmed by Shani before your order is finalised. Local pickup in Stockton, CA is also always available.

Since every product is handpoured to order, please allow 3–5 business days for preparation plus standard shipping time (typically 3–7 business days). Shani will give you an estimated timeline when confirming your order.

All orders are carefully packaged to protect the vessels during transit. Candles and fragile items are wrapped securely to prevent damage. If you're ordering a gift, let Shani know and she can add a personal touch.

Candle Care Instructions

The first burn is the most important. Allow the candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted to the edges — this is called a full melt pool and prevents tunneling. For most of our vessels this takes 2–4 hours.

Before every burn, trim your wick to ¼ inch (about 6mm). This keeps the flame at a safe size, reduces soot and mushrooming, and extends the life of your candle. A wick trimmer, nail clippers, or small scissors all work well.

We recommend burning for no more than 4 hours at a time. After extinguishing, allow it to cool completely before relighting. This protects the vessel and maximises burn time.

Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten it back up. Avoid blowing out candles as this can cause the wick to shift off-center and create smoke.

Stop burning when ½ inch (12mm) of wax remains. Burning below this level can overheat the vessel. Our concrete vessels make beautiful planters, storage jars, or decorative pieces once the candle is finished!

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Heat and UV light can discolour the wax and alter the scent. Keep the lid on when not in use to preserve fragrance and keep dust out.

Ingredients & Safety

All candles are made with a coconut beeswax blend — a clean, natural wax that burns cooler and slower than paraffin, produces minimal soot, and carries fragrance beautifully. It's one of the cleanest wax options available.

Yes. We use phthalate-free, paraben-free fragrance oils that are thoughtfully sourced and skin-safe. We never use synthetic chemicals or additives that release harmful toxins when burned.

We use 100% natural cotton wicks — no lead, no zinc, no metal cores. Cotton wicks burn cleanly and consistently with minimal mushrooming and virtually no black soot.

Our candles use clean, non-toxic ingredients, but some fragrance oils can be sensitive for cats and dogs — especially citrus, eucalyptus, or certain botanicals. Burn in a well-ventilated space and monitor your pets. Ask Shani for advice on pet-safe scent options.

Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris.

Returns & Exchanges

Because each product is handpoured to order, we are unable to accept returns on used candles. However, if there is damage, a defect, or an error on our end, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and we'll make it right.

Scent exchanges on unopened, unused products may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to Shani at 209-741-7888 or via the contact form as soon as possible after receiving your order.

Custom and bulk orders are non-refundable once production has begun, as they are made specifically for you. We encourage you to confirm all details carefully before your order is finalised. If something goes wrong on our end, we will always work to fix it.

Absolutely — custom event candles are one of our specialties! We've created favors and gifts for weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, memorials, and corporate events. Each piece can be personalised with custom labels, scents, colors, and messaging.

Minimum quantities vary depending on the product type and customisation level. Reach out with your needs and Shani will let you know what's possible. There is no strict minimum for many standard orders.

We recommend placing custom orders at least 2–4 weeks in advance for small batches, and 4–6 weeks for large events. The more lead time you give, the more options are available. For urgent requests, contact us and we'll do our best.
